![]() Ive ended up realizing that alot of the sound quality issues has to do with the quality of the connection + the quality of whatever is being played. What sound mode are you using ?DTS, PCM? and are you using HDMI? I’m fine with having to put it lower cause it sounds fine. BUT I know that PCM is just stereo so I’m not going to be getting any of the 5.1 sound effects when watching 5.1 content. I then switched it from DTS neo to PCM, and the bass sounded leveled out and I was able to bump it up like others have done. Watching the same content, could this be an issue with my cable box not getting good audio signals sometimes? Because I noticed this usually happened when I was watching life content as opposed to watching it on replay.Īnother issue I have is that when using the DTS neo setting, my bass gets SUPER powerful, like way too much and I’m having to put the sub all the way down to like 10-9 (max is around 30 I think?) when I look up vidoes and other reviews I see people able to put this thing up to like 17 saying it sounds perfect. My issue is that whenever i want to watch certain things using the 5.1 feature (magnetic rear speakers disconnected) the sound is constantly cutting in and out randomly for like microseconds but other times it sounds fine. I currently have it connected to a 55inch Samsung KS8000 + using it mainly to watch movies/shows off my x1 cable boxĪRC (HDMI) HDMI audio format: PCM Audio Format: DTS Neo 2:5 ![]() I am REALLY not trying to have to return this thing being that I got it off amazon and it’s huge with no box. I really love this neat little system for its price but running into some issues I can’t seem to fix.
